EP1 Free Phonics Lessons After School (2013)

Chaz Teacher

Dear EP1 Red VCIS parents and guardians,

Some EP1 Red and EP1 Blue children today have taken home with them a letter with a request permission form attached.

The letter explains that your child has been chosen to further develop his or her phonics skills by being placed in an after school phonics class which will start from next Monday the 3rd of  June and run for approximately 9 weeks from Monday through to Thursday.

The sole aim of this course is to help EP1 pupils whose phonics skills may need slightly more development or for pupils who have never learnt about phonics, to do so.

This course will certainly help their learning in the English Programme here at Varee Chiangmai School.

The classes will be held in EP1 Red and will start from 4pm and run up until 4:45pm.

The classes are of course voluntary however we do feel that they will be of huge benefit to your child’s English language development for not only the rest of their learning in EP1 but for the rest of their lives.

We sincerely hope that your child will be allowed to attend all if not most of these free classes on a regular weekly basis.

The key to getting the most out of these lessons will be regular punctual attendance without missing too many classes.

If you would like your child to attend than can you please send the permission slip back to me signed no later than the end of  the school day on Monday the 3rd of June.

If you have any further questions regarding these phonics classes than please do not hesitate to approach Teacher Sandy or myself as we will be happy to advise you further.

Kind regards……….Teacher Chaz,
